Adjustable workbench stool
Cutting dovetails requires being bent over the workpiece for prolonged periods, which can be backbreaking after some time. Therefore, I prefer to do this sitting rather than standing. This however requires a relatively high stool, due to the height of the bench. For some of the other work, on the other hand, a lower stool may be preferable. I therefore constructed an adjustable stool, using some leftover oak floorboards. The seat slides up and down and is fixed in place using a wooden clamp system. The height is continuously adjustable between 45 and 75 cm.
